So, yeah. Another time of silence passed and I'm happy to be able to send in an update again

Since April 2011, the underlying core of Metaphysis is pretty much complete. I have started the development of the
actual, non-provisoral GUI ("Graphical User Interface") in mid-may and I think it made a lot of progress since then.
People watching me (`
XyrusWorx) in addition to this group may have seen the latest teaser shot of the editor already:
[link]It is currently getting it's backpower from the fractal engine set in place so the "Internal Prototype" placeholder gets lost soon

The preview build has only been handed out to a few hand-selected testers - actually two: *
lyc who keeps adding suggestions and support in the hardcore maths and `
lindelokse who already tracked not only one deeply hidden bug using her mad "try to break it" skills

Many thanks and appreciation to them

The others of you shall be satisfied with my promise that the GUI is not only visually pleasing on a static image but also features some "special effects" to support you in your workflow and make it a nice looking tool to create nice looking fractal artworks. However, I can offer you an upload on YouTube:
[link]So what do you see on there? It is a screencap of a program I created back in 2006 to assist me in the creation of so called "Pixel Shader Transistions". These allow to blend two images together without actually eating up your processor-time. This kind of eyecandy is part of the main GUI which I have codenamed "Zealot" and for which the development is nearly complete. I'm eager to push in some more videos of that soon

Until then: retain your patience. Good things take time
